yuppo on the big boys onward and upward...the rest as evidenced by the a/d line, not doing as well, I can see the point that seems to give technicians a great concern...and then talk about the big boys being too pricey? maybe so. dunno, and noone really knows.

not into technicals as much as many who post here who have shown a vast amount of knowledge as I continue to learn from all's experiences. At times, confusing and a bearish tone in general.

it's our "job" to find those sectors that are hot/not...trading the IPO's of late has been fun,, msft, lu, csco, sunw just consistently fun...and the nets, well...

Many have had tremendous success trading the nets, now I continue to focus on b2b, with the nuts and bolts behind the net being our steady eddy, basically the big boys...bandwidth players will do well. Telecoms too...and semi's, gotta continue to make chips that go into computers, phones, whatever else...

maybe I'm wrong in my thinking, the net will continue its phenomenal growth rates as ma and pa, big businsses keep up with the Jones'....with clear winners already positioned to take advantage, and others that have yet to surface. the net is not going away, and the csco's of the world are prime beneficaries of this evolution. somebody's gonna make a buck or two along the way. Bottom lines of the big boys will remain solid. maybe the mighty forces of the market will apply the brakes...momentarily...and then it's onward and upward, again.

You know, there's only one time that I agreed wth what Bill Fleck. had to say...his bullish stance on GNET just before Paul A.'s involvement...imagine if I had listened to his doom and gloom over the past couple years...

My simple mind does not see a bear market in the works for the reasons you mentioned. It will have to be some catastrophic event to send this market tumbling.

technology is beautiful, isn't it?
