Interestingly enough BRKa is a pretty diversified PF. 1 share is a lot of businesses and investments in one. Kinda like GE. But anyone who thinks that 1 @ $190 is alot would be the same guy who would buy 2 @ $95 1/2 and say,"Now that's more like it!"
In a way, it would be nicer to have no split because that seems to make the stock more volatile, people lose track of what their buying and say "Whoops, better sell, no, whoops, better buy."
BTW I've been thinking about how the company handled the S&P addition with the issuance of more shares. Many were pissed about that wanting a big run. I bought more on the news myself. But if you look at what happened to AOL and it's run to $170, alot of that was the result of the S&P squeeze (and other factors as well). We are perhaps fortunate we did not have that illusionary run and find ourselves adding to positions at $250.

Just a thought. D.H.
