RE <<<I'm not going to unravel all the posts to come up with the perfect diplomatic most fair to AMD and Intel and all their backers post.>>>

I would not expect you to but to get a good sense of what's going on, all you need to do is read the posts on any day.....which I am sure you have done. And even the village idiot would have to agree that Engel comes over and trashes AMD and the AMD posters on a frequent and regular basis.

RE <<<Au Contraire, when I see a phrase like "very depressing" attached to Intel's first half, stated on an AMD thread, I've got to be on it like white on rice.>>>

There is another way....admit what was true, that the intc stock did not perform well in the first half. I, along with most AMD longs, will admit that AMD has not performed well as a company in the past. Why is it so hard for an intc long to admit that intc screws up from time to time? To not admit it and to attack someone else instead is to reduce us to the level of a kid....and I for one, outgrew that sh*t a while ago.
