All of these "investment strategies" are great for all you old farts that have been eaten by the sharks long ago, found to be indigestible and spit out. But how about something for the guy who just started trying to trade yesterday, last week or last month?

I was lucky, in July of last year I opened an online trading account, put a little money in it, and started trying to find something to buy. This was not long after Broadcast.com made so much as an IPO and was all over the news. I looked for a stock that was really cheap and in basically the same industry. I found DNET at .32. After doing nothing for a while it ran to over $3.00. I knew I would not keep getting lucky on my own, so I started reading the boards. I just happened to come across Wayne & his gang of rabblerousers about Thanksgiving. I thank God daily that it was someone like him that I put my trust and money into, and not a.....well we all know their names, I don't have to mention here. I am up several thousand percent now, and have almost started to figure out what is going on here. Almost, maybe in another year.

So my advice to anyone just beginning would be to find someone that you believe you can trust based on his (or her) track record, and follow that person in and out of a few stocks. If you like it, do it again. If you don't, run like hell. At that time, start using real money, NOT BEFORE.
