steve - <Haunted? Nah, just insecurity mixed in with anxiety over Intel's future. They hope it continues with the same old ballgame as in the past, but this Athlon is taking up a lot of Intel's time I think.>

Isn't competition grand??? Hey, I admit it. K7 is the closest thing to a real bug-a-boo that we've seen in a long time. I AM trying to keep abreast of the overall situation. Who knows, down the road I may very well look back on these pre-Coppermine release days as one of the most exciting times of my career. This of course implies that I firmly belive that I and my employer will be around to reflect as such, and not be toast by Christmas '99 as Mr. DRBES is predicting.

<At least PB may be getting some nice overtime $$ before Christmas.>

Not in the cards. I don't like or particularly need/want overtime anyway. Nice thought though; I know your heart was in the right place :-).

RE <<<Haunted? Nah, just insecurity mixed in with anxiety over Intel's future.>>>

I get the insecurity part.

OT By way of explanation (to the thread), the tag 'tejek' is simply my initials tjk with e's in between the consonants. I have no idea why I did it that way. In any case the name is ted.
