stan,

Your comments sure make sense to me, but then, I'm a shareholder.

Stan: I am unconvinced that a free isp model will work based on advertising revs alone. If however, it was bundled with long distance and was an uncharged"giveaway add-on"...who knows? As I said before, I take great comfort in knowing that sprint is our partner.

"I have one other question---- If you were a company that did want to subsidize an ISP by advertising, wouldn't you advertise on Earthlink where the users apparently have a little money rather than advertise on a "free" ISP where the user is trying to get something for nothing?"

Makes perfect sense to me.

I think we all agree to some extent that the internet will be a ubiquitous part of everyone's life sooner than later. Today, MCI/Worldcom unleashed a story about how they're "betting the ranch" on the internet.

A part of me thinks there's something going on (positive) with ELNK that is extremely covert. In my business, (movies/t.v.) the industry is consolidating very quickly. Only the big, vertically integrated co's will survive.

Though I'm not happy with our current share price, the volume is paltry which suggests (to me) that weak hands are getting shaken out.

Interesting times, huh?
