I think the problem may be that they list FREE sites only. SI is only free to lurkers.

Levy, rest assured that AAII is very well aware of the SI site. Not too long ago, AAII contacted several posters (myself included) directly via e-mail and stated they knew about us from our posts on the SI boards. AAII then invited us over to their site, to post our thoughts there. SI responded with direct communication to AAII; the nature of the communication was not revealed but can be easily imagined. To the best of my knowledge, no further attempts have been made by AAII to "steal" board members from SI. In addition, you may notice that the Personal Profiles on the new SI no longer list individual e-mail addresses; this appears to be in response to the above situation. Regards,
