Nulldog, Hey check out the new thread. "Why do Christians want to control the world?."

Maybe it's our turn now to say what we think.

Everyone else has had their turn. I think this thread could be a great opportunity!

ND,I know what you mean about that thread and some others that the same people frequent. There are a few that I am beginning not to respond too but to completely leave a thread gives them the opportunity to hoot and holler about cowardice. Even though we know damn good and well who the cowards are,I sometimes hate to give them the opportunity. Your posts have always been informational, usually worded in a very tactful way, and, just a "minor" consideration,in tune with my thinking. You can always count on a response from me.

The gold rush would be interesting but, from what I have read, was not nearly as enjoyable as some may think. If you ever get the chance, visit Virginia City, just outside of Reno,Nevada. That's where the Comstock lode came in and the town has preserved the old time look. Some of it is tourtist trap-like but there is a lot of memorabilia there. As far as gold rushes go,I have always enjoyed the movie "Paint Your Wagon" with Lee Marvin and Clint Eastwood. It is very funny,if you have not already seen it.^^^TD
