Regret to inform you, Cobe, that I am not a Pharmacology Guy. That's the other leading brand <hiss> <spit>

I wasn't made super hungry by the linked material because some of the foods he likes leave me cold. Salami and such are too salty, spicy, generally unbland for me. I love bland.

<<Anyway, I had supper, and waited for two hours to take the post-prandial test, and it was 127, which is way normal. 145 is the upper limit of normal. So I feel relieved. >>

I bought one of those kits. The salesman said less than 145 was the aim but under 170 was still ok. I was always less than 115. One night I skipped the booze and cokes and had the salad bar for dinner and woke up with the shakes. Did the blood test and got a 63. I tossed the pills and the test kit.

Later I got talked into a different pill that didn't have the same reaction. One pill twice a day. I took one once a day even though twice a day was the minimum to be effective. Last test showed a 5.5 on a scale where normal reading range from 5.5 to 9. The doc warned me to carry orange juice as my reading was pretty low. I'm off those pills now and feeling better.

I got my cholesterol test back, a couple of years ago I had a test and it was off the board bad. Latest results-

Total - 186
HDL (good) - 47 - over 35 is good
LDL (bad) - 72 - under 130 is good

Now I take no medication, eat the same foods, all bad, but now I get good readings. I have a feeling someone botched the first test and I got someone else's results.
