kkirby -- I believe Thornley said that net income, not revenue, would be made up by ASICS. The reason, if my notes are correct, is that handsets were a major part of sales but also a major part of expenses; eliminating handsets eliminates all those expenses ... so "accretive to earnings." I think he said divestiture of the subscriber business would be immediately accretive to earnings, but I wasn't sure about the "immediately." -- idler.
