The BELL curve has shifted to oversold from overbought in January. Most participants are probably down in their portfolios unless they have technology stocks and in those could be down if they bought in, in July. Yes strong corrections have happened from this level. Like in 1990, the washout didn't come until October, in 1994 it came in November but in those times sectors went through their own corrections one by one. Like technology this summer. If the "market" washes out from this level it is likely to be in the NYSE types. Tom
