JManVegas and BCraig, thanks for TA faith I have read "Wizards" or large tracts.. that reaffirmed my personal experience that TA was valuable.. I respect each person's approach to investing, esp when profitable.. I dont respect denigration of methods when admitting not to understand the methods, the language, and the presumption of timelines I NEVER RESPECT DISMISSIVE ARROGANT IGNORANCE.. it is a clear characteristic of the underclass, often accompanied by serious crippled emotional state, sometimes linked to alcoholism (or alky childhood home sadly).. it is also the basis of racism an example of TA profit: two weeks ago bought a batch of AudioVOX.. entry point was the right shoulder (cup handle) of a head&shoulder pattern.. its fundamentals were huge with 150% eps gain Q/Q.. bought at 13-3/4 and sold after it burst over 15.. got almost 16 for it when wanted to catch QCOM for added shares under 165.. VOX ran to 17 then pulled back.. told friend when bought it that 17 was its target are you paying attention, Molly? or are you yelling at your children? real live TA example.. read it and weep disclaimer: this used method is not for longterm holders.. also, sale of handset div and change in accounting methods (thanks JohnG) blow techanalysis out of the water.. have always said "change in fundamentals overrides all TA" I snatched a clean 15% in under two weeks.. wish I could spot patterns like that more often Molloy, do you see any opportunities for profit out there? or just opps for exercising your caustic style? / jim
