Re: Gilder Technology Report

Is quite simply the only newsletter worth subscribing to. Unlike the all-too-quickly dated material put out by other publishers, each issue of GTR is a collector's item which still seems fresh and insightful months later. George is a true visionary and is gifted with both insight and with the ability to communicate his vision in a compelling manner.

The only downside is that GTR has been "discovered", which means that each month there is a mad rush to be the first to read each issue in the hope that some new stock will be mentioned. This is all the more amazing given that the timeframe George is focused on is 20+ years.

YES,
The GTR is well worth it!
Even if you don't take financial advantage by using his insights as part of your due diligence, and most likely buying stock in some of the companies he and his excellent staff recommend; you will no doubt be afforded a prophetic view of the future that in a few years you will look back on and say "WOW, he was right!"
I figure the cost of the newsletter, which admits you to his website and discussion group(he posts regularly), supplants the cost to me of grad level courses in networking, photonics, telecom,etc...... You have open access to him, his staff, and an unbelievable assortment of individuals giving time and energy into a (usually) healthy, invaluable discussion of the issues.
Did I mention the $$$ to be made? It would probably frighten you (and me) to tally the $$ made by regular readers of the GTR who took advantage of recommendations on Qcom, Atml, Txn,.....I could go on and on!
George's opinions eventually filter through to Forbes, ASAP, WIRED, SI, Yahoo boards, etc.; so you can wade through these sources if you want, but for me, the 295$/year investment has been returned many-fold over the last 3 years.
Good luck in your investing!

I'm a subscriber to Gilder's newsletter. It is money well spent, in my opinion. I don't think you will be disappointed. Not sure what ref to digital wave chip you are talking about.
