not all of the 14 aminos are from Earth. they had to come from space. Namely from asteriods or

I'm trying to wean myself from this thread, but this statement is just too wierd to let stand. Why would amino acids be found on asteriods or comets or other space rocks but not on the Earth which was a big space rock at the time?
