Unix is considered more reliable than Microsoft Corp.'s newer Windows NT system, especially for running Internet sites

Teflon: This might indicate that MSFT is preparing to "open" their Windows code. I don't know how many million lines of code it represents and how anyone could really digest it and make something commercial out of it. MSFT will just switch their commercial emphasis to software that modifies the use of Windows and Unix. I don't think the competition would be able to produce a better Windows. On the other hand UNIX code has been open for years and MSFT can probably out apply any competition out there in either millieu. Look how quickly they overtook NSCP Navigator. Open or closed MSFT has the knack of going for the gold and and doing a thing until they get it right. What other company can you say this about. Softee is as hard as a rock JFD

Well, Sunw is in trouble. If SUNW can give away Star Office free, Microsoft can do the same thing , so that SUNW's Unix based customers can easily transfered to Window based system.

Teflon,
Did you have a great weekend partying over last week's winnings? Let's hope next weekend is the same!
