Gabor - Ask me again after the launch. I can't really tell what the significance will be at this point. You cannot discern much by looking at the web site (office.com). However, I have a gut feeling that WinStar is going to put a lot of emphasis on this and that Office.Com will be launched with a good deal of fanfare. As you know, WCII's direct, highly-targeted marketing approach is effective in terms of selling telecom services but doesn't do much for broad name recogition. I think the millions of dollars of advertising they got from CBS will change that, although we don't know yet how closely Office.Com will be associated with WinStar. Between the Office.Com launch, and the news that WCII is preparing to place an order for $100 million worth of P-MP equipment...well, things just never looked better to me.

I was poking around on the WinStar web site today and found a video clip from the 1999 shareholder meeting on the Investor Info page. It has the presentations by Bill and Nate and was well worth the 40 minutes it took to watch it. If you have a decent Internet connection and some spare time, I'd highly recommend it. Despite the ugliness today, I feel better than ever about this company.
