**OT** Benkea if speaking of insanity I found the enclosed news release which reflects the quality of today Internet's management. Is it an insulated event ?? No I do not think so otherwise the FBI would not get involved if the issue would be insulated.

It shows that scum and sleeze prevails within Internet high flying companies and is common with both genders. Just think about all those not nabbed by law enforcements or those who entered quiet settlements on various charges.

One should evaluate the various items posted on EBAY for sale, from unborn babies, body parts and perverse sex related items.

LOS ANGELES (September 19, 1999 11:28 a.m. EDT nandotimes.com) - An executive of the Web portal site Infoseek was arrested for investigation of soliciting sex with a teenager over the Internet, authorities said. Patrick J. Naughton was arrested Thursday by FBI agents at the Santa Monica Pier, U.S. Attorney's spokesman Thom Mrozek said Saturday.

An affidavit filed in federal court accused Naughton, an executive vice president of Infoseek, of interstate travel with the intent of having sex with a minor, Mrozek said.

It alleged that Naughton, who oversees the Walt Disney Co.'s Go Network Internet sites, sent lewd messages in an Internet chat room to a male FBI agent posing as a 13-year-old girl, the Los Angeles Times said Saturday.

Naughton, 34, of Seattle, was released Friday pending an Oct. 12 arraignment, Mrozek said. Naughton did not return messages left at his Seattle home seeking comment.

Infoseek spokeswoman Terrie Prosper told the Times, "We are deeply shocked and disturbed by this. We're looking into the matter."

Disney acquired a stake in Infoseek last year and worked with it to create the Go Network, which competes with other portal sites to offer Web searches, entertainment and personalized news. In July, Disney announced it was acquiring all of Infoseek.
