generally people have said to put 5 % into gold and no more, however these are often ws types who want to sell you mutuals for the other 95 %... it strikes me that your take on asa and the like and myths take on ebay are similar...if you think asa is gonna hit 40 or 50, you can make a fortune on asa otm calls...if this is really what you think, you could load up on these and just turn off the computer and tv till january and let things unfold as they may... myth thinks ebay can go to single digits by jan...so, the jan 2000 60 poots can be had for about a buck...here, on this , 2k could be turned into 100k... i guess my question is , why not make these two bets with a few thou and do nothing else...why hold the bag on gold stocks forever and ever when you can just buy a couple lotto tickets on these two longshots and keep the rest of your powder in dirty old cash !!! ike
