He sounds a little like my Dad. He just asked for a Tarrington (sp) and a vodka tonic. What can you do?

Well at least he is getting those things checked. But it seems like a Dr. would want to remove all of them.

Nice to have someone in your life you admire so much!!

(I have been busy or something)

Mel

There are people who live to a ripe old age smoking cigarettes and drinking booze. Maybe he'll be one of them. Cigarettes were fun, I recall, although now that I don't smoke them anymore the smell bothers me, and the ashes always were nasty.

The people I work with now all smoke, sometimes I think about bumming one cigarette, but only for a millisecond. My new office will be smoke-free. It will be nice to go home and not have smelly hair.

I am reading up on diabetes, and apparently the people who get the neuropathy so bad they have to have amputations are pretty much all smokers. Smoking and diabetes is very bad.

I remember that smokers have a bad time recuperating from surgery, too. A lot of plastic surgeons won't do cosmetic surgery on smokers, due to the complication rate.

And of course the booze will kill you, too.

But he knows that, already.
