Yesterday Dan came into the study and said, let's go. And we went to the library, took out a bunch of musicals on tape, put the top down, and drove into the country, singing at the top of our lungs and getting very strange looks, including very annoyed ones from teenagers, which is funny, because usually teenagers are the ones who are annoying.. but, anyway, older people seemed quite understanding and smiled and laughed at us. It was something we used to do many years ago before we were married, and was one of the reasons I married Dan. He knows the words to every musical. ANd if he doesn't he can make them up convincingly. We bought sandwiches at a garage that said TURKEY on the saran wrap but turned out to be bologna, and went to open houses in ritzy areas. It was a totally nonproductive, great day. My nose is sunburned. I know you would approve.
