In the preface to the revised "Chasm" Geof notes "the bulk of the changes ... representing about a third of total text - simply swap out examples from the 1980's with examples from the 1990's". He then says "in the early 90's it was the change to GUI's and client-server topologies .... close of the century it is the complete shift of communications infrastructure to the Internet". Geof gets a fair amount of reuse out of his material a lot of which is culled from clients Chasm Group consults to. I guess Qualcomm should retain them <g>. - Eric -
