DJ:" more core... "

...in reality, it peaked March~April, and not a heluva lot has happened since then, DJ - save a slow decay - and the collapse of AOL, other 'nets.

...in reality, no, my friend - what Madame and I are ready for is moving back to Paris. We try to speak French to one another but, we're losing it - reduced to short phrases with simple nouns in the present tense :-(

Houston/Texas is BOOMING - people are rolling in dough over here; un-employment is non-existant. Overall crime is negligible, save the spectacular; politics seems inevitable; the Empire, invincible.

We want to sell the house here any time after May-00; we're looking for a flat in San Francisco (all our stuff is still there). I'm thinking about going over to the Continent around week 48, sending Madame to Paris for a week (while I get blitzed in Amsterdam?) to see what the flat situation over there is now... San Francisco or Paris is tough when you're used to having a garden and a garage (^_^)
