>> "That means Qualcomm will have to cut them a honey of a deal," and take a large charge as a result, says analyst Edward Snyder of Hambrecht and Quist.<<

Is Snyder from H&Q still trying to keep the Q down -- this has been the case since it was pre-split and about $140/share lower. Less than a week ago, he was talking about the Q issuing an earning warning -- he was wrong again and again and again. I have stopped listening the H&Q, esp. with respect to QCOM. I think that Synder is trying to support some funds that are short the Q -- that's what I heard. Someday, maybe H&Q will stop trying to fulfull an agenda and issue self-respecting analysis with support.

Snyder of Hambrecht and Quist.>

This jerk is a joke. His hatred for the Q! is relentless.

<and there are indications that the growth in chip set production may be
slowing down, which will affect Qualcomm's revenue.>

Is he even reading the same data that we've seen? How many places has it been written that CDMA is the fastest growing of the cellular standards.... 6? 12? 100? Is he even following the right industry? What an ASS!
