Mike,

Thanks a Quillion.<g> Let me take this opportunity to thank you
for all your wonderful reports. There is one thing that boggles
my mind...what the hell are you doing selling carpet?

Thanks again and best regards,

Glenda

Merlin,

Never mind posting the link. I should have realized someone else would ask and I should have scrolled down further before asking. I have been out of town on a short surprise birthday trip my wife hit me with and as usual I am playing catchup on the thread.

My Best,

Joel

Cha2,

Just in case you haven't found the report yet, I used my own set of instructions and got to it just fine. I'll provide them again below, amended slightly but with nothing fundamentally changed.

1) Go to stephens.com
2) Click on "Accept Agrement"
3) Now that you're at the home page, click in the top right corner on "Alphabetical Coverage List."

(If you don't already have Acrobat's Reader on your hard disk, click on the hyperlink that allows you to download it. It's free and is used by a lot of research firms to publish their reports. It won't be the last time you use it. After following the dowlnoad and installation steps which are SIMPLE, go to step #4 shown below.)

4) Click on "Gemstar."
5) Click on "Basic Report 6/23/99."

Good luck!

Mike,

Re: GMST and the company's plan to have the IPG as ubiquitous as the remote control...

I have Starsight on my television and haven't looked at a newpaper program guide in the two years that I've had it. I find that I do use the IPG before watching any television (unless I KNOW that there is a particular game on!) and miss the feature when I am watching a television w/o it. From this experience, I can see the potential of this technology, and from reading your posts I think I'll take a position (even though I'd promised myself to start cutting down on the number of stocks in my portfolio!)
