You are right Frank, five year projections would be interesting, but I am kind of a skeptical, old cynical type that has a hard time believing any of those Wall Street types anymore. That's why I mostly trade short term off of the charts.

When I do consider investing in a company based upon fundamentals, then for my money, only the best proven companies are allowed into my portfolio. If you will allow the analogy: If you were the owner of a baseball team, would you want only proven players batting 400, or a bunch of 200 hitters from AA ball with big dreams of one day making it to the big leagues?

I am not yet wealthy enough to risk any of my money on the stocks with big hopes. I will buy the CSCO's of the world on pullbacks, but other than that, it is short term off of the charts for me. This eliminates the need for all of the time consuming due diligence and second guessing that finding the next needle in the haystack (like MSFT 20 years ago) requires. I am not smart enough to do that kind of stock picking anyway.
