I used Equalizer then Streetsmart before Velocity. I liked Streetsmart. Both of the prior products will no longer be supported by Schwab.
Velocity is an incomplete product as of now but will be added to over time. I trade using it but only stocks at this point can be traded. Options and mutual funds cannot. Also no E-mail or reporting features. So it still needs work. Schwab for what ever reason has put out an unfinished product. Hopefully over time it will contain items that I liked.
You can set up a watch list for quotes and get timely update and also balances, positions, etc. Its a start.

New Job Opening: Infoseek's Naughton arrested by FBI

Patrick Naughton, the Infoseek executive in charge of the alliance with Disney's Go Network, has been arrested by FBI agents and charged with using the Internet to solicit sex with a minor.

Naughton, well-known for his work on Sun's Java language before going to work for Infoseek, was arrested Thursday at the Santa Monica Pier, where he was expecting to meet a 13-year-old girl for sex, the Los Angeles Times reported Saturday.

The newspaper said Naughton used the screen name "Hotseattle" to send lewd e-mail messages to an FBI agent posing as the teen. Naughton, 34, lives in Seattle.

The arrest capped a six-month investigation, during which Naughton bragged of another encounter with a teen. He also led undercover authorities to a Web site containing a picture of his genitals, the Times reported, citing an affidavit filed in Federal Court.

Disney (NYSE:DIS) named Naughton executive vice president responsible for content and technology for Go Networks in January.
