If we're "searching for answers" to this problem, why don't Bill and Al act like it rather than continuing the absurd assertion that more laws will be associated by some magical change in human behavior? There are already thousands of laws regulating the possession and use of weapons. Ten Commandments, ten thousand laws. Neither one works for the depraved. But the Ten have a better shot at it. No religious nut here, but had a Lutheran minister for a father so am at least familiar with one facet of the equation. Individual responsibility unlearned before the age of puberty is probably unlearned forever in my view. There will be individual exceptions, of course. Similarly, Liberalism with few exceptions is incurable. Sadly, it spreads like a plague in this land of scientific and intellectual illiteracy. Just came to this thread today in my wanderings but found a few kindred souls. Guess I'll be back for my daily dose. Doc
