I think a vampire kissed it better. Or maybe that was my dream. Actually, I had a dream I was in an English House, a Giant One, and having a "secret courtship" with someone important, with a near-constant retinue, and noticing very suspicious things about the people serving her.

I don't normally have these kind of political dreams, because the directors know I can't even follow what's happening. So I look at the architecture, and try to figure out what the mysterious woman is telling me, by things as subtle as can be perceived at all, like my presence at certain places and functions, while I have no idea what I'm doing there. I recognize the architecture, very well, the foil windows, et al. But I have no idea who I am, which should seem to arouse some curiosity, on my part, but like I said.....

So, let's look for an English Dynasty that collapsed when Herbert The Stupid didn't get the message.

LAst night's dream was so bizarre, I think I would only tell you, who suffers from equally strange night visions.
For some reason, the care of an insect fell to me. Only it was a very intelligent insect, like he talked and was wise in some way, and he was sick. I carried him around, and tried to do the right things. He needed orange juice injected with a hypodermic needle at regular intervals. Only I screwed up and then his legs started falling off, and then pieces of his carapace, and finally I realized that he was dead. He died in Walmart.

And yes, I do worry about my mental health.
