Hi Peach. Thanks for the welcome home! Speaking of Lava, I've got to put more photos of her up soon. She has gone through a growth spurt lately that has just amazed me. I swear she has grown about 4 inches taller, and gained about 15 pounds...all in the last week! Anyway, she's the same hyper self, just BIGGER!! I was at the pond yesterday evening with her, taking her for her daily swim. As we were standing there, a small group of 5 Canada Geese came flying into the pond making the loud honking racket (music to my ears) that they do when excited. You could tell they were young birds because they weren't frightened of us at all. Lava just stood there watching them fly right by us, and then watched them drop into the water. She sat there for at least 3 minutes just staring at the geese. I know she wanted to run at them, so I released her from her sit, and she took a flying leap into the pond. I swear she must have jumped about 5 feet high and flew about 12 feet before hitting the water. Of course she had no chance of catching the geese, but she sure had fun scaring them! I think she's going to be a great hunter. :*) I'll deliver that hug for you! 909's, -Joe
