I've done a cursory study on Zionism. I know it was an intellectual movement in the 19th century and picked up momentum in the early 20th century. The treatment of Palestinians was rough in 1948, I would like to see some amends made to those whose property was seized. I suggest you direct your anger toward England regarding injustices that were done in the early days of the new Israel.

The Anglo-Saxon distortion of Torquemada and the Holy Inquisition is well known to those who care to study the matter. It does a disservice to distort the other way, though. The Jews never had a "hold" on Spain, as you say.
