Kash, The 'clock locking' as used in the celerons would not be doable with the 820s, so any buyer could use them as they saw fit.??
Unless Intel tested and kept a lot of the good 133 cappable ones back for a reserve in case rambus was a ramdog.
That means all of a suddent others who depended on the 820 and wanted 133 capable ones would find they could get none as Intel kept them for themselves until they could rampup? SOunds like a good time for Via to play on the independent supplier strategy.
