yup, still that, but being a Catchman would be a lot more fun

this is the first year that the tuna season has not closed
still 267 tons left in the 644 ton quota

the only group that is doing well is the commercial purse seiners: 5 boats owned by 3 families that has had an "in: in the Federal fisheries management laws for 30+ years
these 5 boats in just a few weeks have taken 1/3 as many fish as the 1000's of boats like we have taken since June 1

the "Boys of Summer" for the first time ever are totally frustrated: gets old spending 15 hours on the water for nothing more than a boat ride

my buddies are trying to talk me into joining in for their annual Whitetail hunt in Maine
I've not hunted since the 60's
they suggested that since I no longer own an orange vest that my dark brown coveralls with the white patch on the back might be just the ticket to wear
think I'll pass

Dan, thanks for your input on NITE, GUMM, VPHM

I agree on all your points
>>will sit and wait on GUMM for a breakout
>>may try a short on VPHM
>> will continue to build a long term position on NITE; if 18 is hit may just take out a mortgage on the ranch to load up
30+ is a very clear buy/stop; will add if it can break up through that price

Larry 0 Pats 2
good game: good team (not very good) with a tad of luck
the next few games will tell if they will have a decent season or blow it

the stock everyone loves to hate
I'm sure glad Sue talked me into selling for a small loss
I haven't a clue where/when I'd go back in other than if it broke >>>100 convincingly
