Hi,LLR! Report from the RAmbihouse.
Just heading to bed, and will pass the message on to Dan; I know he will be glad to be appreciated. He was already quite pleased with himself at his impetuous behavior.

Last night after we ate Cajun, we went back to our friends' home. Dan had been given some good cigars as a gift and he and Chuck went out in their yard and smoked them, so Jan and I watched the tape she had had made of their son for a graduation present. It was wonderful--a collage of both movies and stills of him from babyhood through high school, with music in the background. The final part was really beautifully done. She had used a mushy Yanni piece, and there were pictures of the baby Chad fading into the grown up Chad. God, it was such a tearjerker!!! When the men came in, they found Jan and me drinking Grand Marnier and sobbing on each other. But it was a good, female, cathartic cry.

And I saw Tom Jones for the fourth time. Today, after Ammo died and they were dragging his body off stage, his breeches cane undone and came off as they pulled him away. SInce he was dead , he couldn't grab them and hold them up. By the time they got offstage, his Fruit of the Looms were anachronistically in evidence,

We just got off the phone with CW and he sounds so happy! Next weekend is Parents' Weekend I can't wait to see him!!!!!
Off to bed-- maybe tomorrow will be a decent day for at least one of my stocks. That would be nice.
