C.Kahn, That is just the way it should be..Americans got caught up during the Jimmy Carter Presidency with his "Born Again Christian" Comment' In that era a "Born Again Christian" was someone who had "backslid" left their Church and then returned. That is the original definition. Some People just like the followers of Mr. Moon changed the Idea and it became the Fundamentalist Movement in America. Along came Jim and Tammy Faye', (I have an Aunt and Uncle who lost big$$ in their North Carolina Enterprise) Pat Roberson (HIs father was a Senator) He claimed he had no relationship with his father but declined to say why??? Then Jerry Falwell and Oral Roberts. Then are all living in Virginia the area that America's sleeping prophet Edgar Cayce predicted would be our Port of Call when this Nation is divided by a massive Earthquake??? They then created their own brand of "Born again Christianity" and pulled in Millions$$$$ That is when the Control' method got started. I have had a Minister from a local Church tell me I would die and go to hell if I did not come to his Church To get his foot out of my door, I told him I was a Wicca Witch:-) and he left my door in a hurry..In Lakeland,Florida there is a Monsterous Church in Every Neighborhood. I find no problems with that and the people are good and honest, If they wish to give their Paycheck to the Preacher..sobe it...I do not like the poverty I see here. It is too Remniscent of my life as a child in WVa. My Father owned the local General Store and when the Preacher came through the Mountains in the Coal Mine area where we lived.It was my Father who had to feed the local neighborhood after he left with their paychecks in the name of God. $$$$$$$ never was and never will be God.That Preacher went on to become the greatest Evangelist of our times.. I am a Convert to Catholicism via Thomas Merton, the Trappist Monk. He was on his way to visit the Dali LLama when he was strangely eloctrocuted by pulling a fan into his bathtub??? He was able to connect the Religion with the Eastern Faith. I did not mean to write a "Tome" but I am a writer and get carried away at times...lol It is not my desire to offend anyones Religion..I have studied All of them to some degree, and .I have stated before that I am very Spiritual..Lisa the Protestant faith
