RE daytrading, I am in the Q club, but on FRI bought 100 shares in my taxable account @ 181.5 and sold @ 187.5 the same day, not a lot of money but easy money nonetheless.

My point is that the thread is right about the daytrading firms making the money thru churning because the pure daytraders would have made 10 trades probably to earn the same 6 points, while I simply round tripped it ($60 Schwab) for 6 points.

This is an example of using the technical strength of the stock to jump in and out w/o touching your core holding. I will use a pullback to say 175'sh to go at it again.
