Well, I will admit that that Christianity does have its moments. Con-artists and crooks such Jimmy Swaggart, Jim Baker, Oral Roberts - and many others who have similarly proclaimed themselves the middleman between the average shnook and Jesus - have provided endless hours of amusement. But you get right down to it, it's simply another silly cult. Unfortunately, this particular cult produces countless numbers of smug self-righteous zealots who seem to have nothing better to do with their lives than pushing their bizarre dogma on anyone and everyone who doesn't share their world-view.

Personally, I really don't give a damn what anyone believes - but i do find it disturbing when their superstitions start invading the political and scientific realms. For example, I find it alarming that we are at the dawn of the 21st century and Christians in America continue to insist on turning back the clock to the middle-ages in Biology classrooms.
