I just sold my JDX at $0.73 and feeling good about it. The insiders are so hopeless with all that cash it makes me sick. They are probably paying themselves big fatty salaries, burning cash and must be selling stock. Who else would sell stock below cash value!

ePhysician Teams With Medsite to Create Online Medical Store

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Sep 21, 1999 (BW HealthWire)

Healthcare Professionals Gain Instant Access to MedBookStore's Journal Tracking, Software and Instrument Offerings via ePhysician 1.0

ePhysician, which uses Internet-based, mobile technology to help healthcare professionals improve the quality of care, has joined with Medsite -- the leading provider of eServices for the medical community -- to create the ePhysician MedBookStore. The partnership will offer healthcare professionals instant access to MedBooksStore.com via the ePhysician 1.0 service, allowing them to shop easily and efficiently at the world's largest online medical and software store.

Of the more than $1.2 trillion that is spent on healthcare in the United States each year, experts estimate that $250 billion is wasted on redundant manual and paper-based processes that can result in costly and dangerous miscommunications. Using Internet-enabled palm-sized computers, ePhysician 1.0 enables doctors and other healthcare professionals to screen critical patient data, prescribe medications and order laboratory tests in the exam room, on rounds, on the road or at home.

Now, with the ePhysician MedBookStore, physicians can take advantage of Medsite's cost-effective, user-friendly e-commerce services. Medsite monitors more than 2,500 U.S. and international medical journals and carries more than 90,000 medical books, thousands of medical software titles, and a wide selection of medical supplies at discount prices.

ePhysician Founder, President and CEO Stuart Weisman, M.D., said the partnership with Medsite supports the company's strategy of providing solutions for healthcare professionals one step at a time. "ePhysician is bringing the benefits of the Internet and mobile computing technology to physicians where they need it most -- their everyday practice," Weisman said. "Partnering with Medsite gives our customers medical information and services they need on a daily basis."

Health professionals who subscribe to ePhysician 1.0 will be able to purchase medical books, software, instruments and journals, as well as track journals and educational courses at the ePhysician MedBookStore. Subscribers using the ePhysician MedBookStore will also benefit from discounts, promotions and special offers such as a $100 credit at MedBookStore for reviewing a medical book and a $25 credit for registering at ePhysician.

"Our partnership with ePhysician allows us to expand the reach of Medsite's eServices to make the lives of doctors and patients easier," said Sundeep Bhan, co-founder and CEO of Medsite. "As an increasing number of medical professionals turn to the Internet, there is a growing need for timely, thorough and accurate information that is easily accessible. Our partnership with ePhysician helps fulfill that need."
