The 1/3 L2 cache will result in minimal performance gains, NEGATING the increase in clock speed - Didn't AMD THINK OF THAT ?

The 1/2 speed L2 cache requires 400 MHz SRAM - so I REPEAT MY QUESTION - HOW DOES AMD GRAPPLE WITH THAT EXPENSIVE AND NOT-VERY-AVAILABLE chip ?
