brk: Exactly. I had great confidence that this deal was going to happen, and it seemed like a no brainer to take the tax loss on GBLX, and buy FRO, especially since it was trading under $40, knowing that in essence I WAS buying GBLX yet getting a tax loss in the process. I have done that frequently, especially in volatile sectors, and it certainly increases my ROI in the long run, since I am paying much less tax. Just one person's method of staying above water!
