I'm not a Christian, but I have to acknowledge that some of the most decent people I know are Christians. They are good family people with good morals. Sure, there are some bad apples (Bakker, Swaggert, etc.)but the "average joe" who professes Christianity seems to be okay.

By the way, I agree with you that the Catholic faith (i.e. priests) is facing some challenges, but the evangelical movement seems stronger than ever. Based upon my readings, the Protestant faith is growing larger every year.
