THX Steve, I think the Charter IPO should do well and I'm sure every GNET investor will buy on opening day. I probably will also but cautiously. My concern is what happened with AT&T & Excite / AtHome. I think that turned out to be a disaster for shareholders with the stock meltdown this year. Hopefully Paul Allen will execute the GNET and Charter integration much better.
I'm also waiting on the Navisite IPO since they are backed by CMGI but I'm not sure anyone will catch EXDS. It looks like we'll have a lot of horses entering this race and I want to make sure my money winds up on the win / place / and show .... top 3.
Good luck to you and thanks for the replies !
Gardener

Steve, your favorable comments on CNN Money Talk regarding Actv and the T/LMGa connection(John Malone) were on the mark.

Here we have an AT&T exec extolling Actv's targeted ads and interactive advertisings importance in AT&T's strategy.

ACTV Inc., based in Manhattan, plans to launch a $9.95
monthly service in Dallas that, among other features, will allow
viewers to choose camera angles during baseball games on TV
and to tell car advertisers like Toyota which model they would
like to see in commercials.

"You can target ads to customers based on who they are and
what they want," said Priddy, the AT&T executive, adding that
interactive advertising is an important part of the company's
strategy.
