Cable modems have security problems. There was a big article in NY Times a few weeks back. Hackers constantly probe them.

LINUX is susceptible to hackers. Qwiksand & James talked about it b4. My husband moves to Solaris 7 because he believes the security is better. I don't know if this is true. Maybe someone on the thread will comment.

He likes LINUX and he learned so very much by using it.
Still, he plans to install the new version of Star Office when he gets his Solaris 7.

My husband's problem is that he doesn't have time to keep LINUX up and running. He's his own LINUX administrator or whatever you call them. And that is not what he does for a living.

He wants to install Solaris because a co-worker who is an engineer knows Solaris and will help him out if he has problems.

He's also getting a work station. Heaven knows what he will run on it. They have an old DECK for him. He wanted a Sun workstation but it wasn't available.

How did you become involved with Market Order.com. What will you sell?

Hey, I've been to Fiji on scuba diving trips. Where were you going to have the wedding?

Actually, I heard that another place will take the first steps into the millennium. I thought it was down New Zealand's way. Does your fiance live in Seattle? She must also be disappointed.

Sun's doing well, anyway.

Cheers,

Mephisto
