Hey Fred, My son who is in grade School this year brought home his fundraiser book and it was very nice and had about 50 things listed for sale. The music card was not one of those items...
tsig is saying that they mailed these things to 100,000+ schools and if you do the math that means that the average would be 2000 schools per state(not including DC)... Now if the above is correct, why is it so hard for someone to find even just a few schools who have heard about the card?....How many schools are there in lets just say Vermont or New York?
Sam

A few comments on the meeting I had with Mr Gordon today.

The mailing to the 4-H clubs should start going out this week. Each club that sells $5000 gets $250 to spend in the 4-H merchandise catalogue. The letter looks excellent and professional.

The second mailing to the principals should go next week.

The schools normally have 3 fundraisers each year. It would be logical the schools would continue to generate growing interest as they continue to look for further outlets to enhance or replace old products. This is a continuing effort throughout the school year as schools move through the fundraising efforts they have scheduled.

The interest from the schools and music depts remains steady.

The Music Educators Journal Aug and Sept issues contained a full page ad on the inside back page for the My MusicCard offering. It went nationally to over 50,000 music teachers and educators.

The Premium Incentive Show in Chicago last week had a booth for the My MusicCard. It generated over 1000 corporate leads to be followed up on.

The outbound calling has been completed on the first 5000. They plan to start again once the updating is done.

The beta test for the My PhotoCard has been completed. It was done in a retail setting and the results were better than expected.

EOCnet has been pushed back in order to maintain proper focus. EOCnet actually is not ready yet anyway. It may start around Nov but if delayed to the first of the year will not cause concern.

Interviewing for a couple of key personnel continues. The selection and hiring should be completed shortly.

Additional distributors won't be looked for but the ones here will be kept. The time and effort required by them with individual sales will be directed toward the national corporate and charity sales where the returns are felt to be much higher.
