I didn't find that press release big news at all. The stock "soaring" 5 pennies did not indicate that to be so. A device, invention, or discovery doesn't have to work to be patented. The US Patent office pays no attention whether an invention/discovery works or is a con (with the exception of any kind of "perpetual motion machine," which policy forbids their granting a patent). Check it out for yourself. Ask questions of the Patent Office. I did.
