Thanks Tom. So when I see "thin client" I can think of Scott MacNealy's "the network is the computer." (Or was it Larry Elison? Doesn't matter.)

I have taken a fairly large position in Applix and Corel to supplement a modest position in RHAT. In a rare moment of enthusiasm after hearing the Radio Wall Street panel discussion on Red Hat and Linux, I thought both of these were a slam dunk to run up like Red Hat as soon as the crowd that ran RHAT up discovered them. My daughter overheard me telling my son to tell a friend about the opportunity and asked me to buy some for her. It actually popped from about 18 to 26(?) on the day I bought until Sun announced the purchase of Star around mid afternoon that day and it crashed.(So much for slam dunks!) My first reaction was to try and catch a dead cat bounce and get out but more research convinced me that these were good investments for the long term. I then took advantage of the pull back to add more of both stocks. I also stopped out of Red Hat at 115 and doubled my position at 96. I have high hopes for Linux. I'd love to see Mr. Softee get his nose bloodied even though I will soon be an owner since they bought out my Visio.

Regards,
Bob
