Software CineMaster 98(R) Empowers IBM-Compatible
PCs with Cost-Effective DVD Upgrade Option
RAVISENT Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq:RVST) and Sony Europe today announced a new cost-effective upgrade solution to deliver DVD playback on IBM-compatible PC platforms.
RAVISENT's Software CineMaster(R) 98, the software solution that enables digital video and audio stream management, will accompany Sony's DDU220E-SRP drive with 6x DVD access speed and 32x CD access speed to provide customers optimal DVD and CD performance. In addition, the DDU220E-SRP also reads CD-R and CD-RW disks due to Sony's SingleLense, Twin Laser Optical Pick-up Head.
RAVISENT's CineMaster products are recognized for their amazing clarity, full-frame video display and interactive capabilities. Bundled with a DVD-ROM drive, an ATI 128 graphics card and the ability to support five languages, the European retail package is an easy-to-use, cost-effective solution for computer users who want to empower their PC with DVD playback ability.
