Y2K fears with regard to EMC were always highly misplaced. As you correctly surmise, the market has now realized that. As I stated a few months ago when I started frequenting this thread, there should be far more fear in the market in regard to the post Y2K phase for EMC. At $72+, the market isn't discounting this potential problem. In addition, the market has now decided to overlook the problems with the 2Q report, particularly the very poor unit growth and the increased A/R DSO. Price increases will not support the current PE, unit growth will. In the low 50's, that was not a major issue. In the low 70's, it is a major issue.
