Hi HG,

Good to hear from you.

>>>Looks like summer is over and you are getting re-focused on the markets again.<<<<

I was pretty active in the markets this summer (mainly stocks, except for the markets mentioned in my last post), just inactive on SI. <g> With my schedule the way it is now between trading and classes, I don't expect much to change.

>>>Looks like we are very close to some decisive movement one way or the other in the dow and the CRB has an interesting pattern too.<<<

I agree. Just for fun, here's another CRB chart for you.... this one is weekly.... and the small up fork on the weekly, is the large one on the daily.

Yes. My guess would be that there are some REAL fireworks in the grains sometime next year, but that's nothing more than a guess. So long as the lows of July do not break, I suspect we are in a long term up trend. Within that, I expect seasonal weakness to effect prices, as there is typically a harvest low made in the October timeframe. My short term work still has me short a few beans from last week, although I took profits on half the position. FWIW, TTYL

Regards,

Frank
