What did you "experience" in your life that was meaningful?

the experience of searching for meaning in life can be very enriching. i would hate to be held to one post and try to encapsulate "the meaning of life". in fact it occurs to me to say that perhaps the title of the thread could better be "what is meaningful in life" which gives a plurality of answers rather than a single answer.

being kind and helpful to others can be enriching and meaningful as jorj suggested. but so too, skipping a stone, looking at a sunset, accomplishing something, teaching, dreaming, and a thousand other things are elements of our eclectic journey through life that if we look we can find meaning. we can find meaning in our tears and our joys and in our spiritual lives. and by just letting life happen rather than working towards something and forcing a script.

i'm rambling...but such is meaning in life ;)
