Bill,
I am not privy to the rumors you are refering to re: possible Barrick move on PFG. I have spoken a couple of times with Tom and my read is that this run is based on the potential of the new property. This deal has been in the works for 9 months and was heavily sought after by many companies. PFG won. There has been an insiders trading ban in effect for many months because of this deal. We will know more as time passes but it appears that many people were watching to see who was going to win the deal. The person trading through Dundee must have gotten wind early that PFG was coming out on top. Unfortunately, no drilling will be taking place for a number of months due to the need to build a few miles of road. No geochem work is needed because the places to drill are obvious from the exposed mineralization. They will be doing some surface work with local miners, scraping off the top soil to see what lies just below the surface.

My read is that we have another potential elephant....time will tell. If this one doesn't pan out, there will be other potential elephants because that is what they are after....large, low cost deposits they can sell.

Best of Luck,

Ross
